Llys-y-fran Country Park

Llys-y-fran Dam Country Park is popular for walkers and cyclists alike, the reservoir has an 8-mile trail around its perimeter which takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete. The Country Park is a popular fishing spot as the reservoir is regularly stocked with rainbow trout.

Nearby is the Tafarn Zinc (the highest pub in Pembrokeshire) which is a popular restaurant and pub unique due to its corrugated zinc exterior and the Post Office Restaurant, Rosebush.

The Preselli Hills are partly covered in heather, bilberries, bracken, fir trees and natural springs. The Preseli Hills are home to herds of sheep and are an excellent terrain for walking.

These lime kilns are in the care of the National Trust and are situated on the West Quay. There are also lime kilns situated on the East Quay.

St.Davids is situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and is surrounded by beautiful coastal scenery. Nearby is Porthclais Harbour and Whitesands Bay, the latter of which has been awarded a European Blue Flag.

Newgale Beach is situated half-way between Haverfordwest and St.Davids and is a popular location for water sports. The beach itself has been awarded a European Blue Flag and is approximately 2-miles long.
